KB Consultants specializes in coordinating a comprehensive community relations program to involve our clients in the communities that they serve. We investigate, evaluate, and implement charitable giving programs for our clients in order to encourage financial and volunteer contributions in the areas of education, social services, health care, civic affairs, and the arts.
KB Consultants' community relations objective is to achieve a balance between engaging our clients' personal interests, maintaining consistency with the clients' marketing and public relations goals, and maximizing the business impact of such charitable contributions. A balanced, targeted community relations campaign will ultimately enhance a firm's profitability through good will and positive media coverage.
Our method of coordinating an effective community relations program is to identify charitable organizations that we feel match our client's interests, and vice versa. We strive to develop long-term partnerships that will result in significant and meaningful synergies. By employing a focused, strategic approach, KB Consultants will create and implement a community relations campaign which complements and enhances our marketing and public relations endeavors.
KB Consultants will create and implement an integrated community relations program to manage and coordinate charitable donations by:
• Benchmarking previous community relations activities of the client and its principals through surveys, interviews, site visits
• Surveying community relations opportunities with charitable organizations
• Evaluating fit with the client's public relations and marketing goals
• Coordinating introductions and establishing relationships with charitable and/or civic organizations
• Creating synergistic opportunities for partnership with charitable and/or civic organizations
• Developing annual budget for charitable and/or civic donations
• Creating and implementing a standard operating procedure to investigate, evaluate and execute charitable giving opportunities and programs on the basis of clients' criteria, i.e., opportunities for employee involvement, business impact, and potential for media awareness/ coverage
• Negotiating with organizations to ensure maximum business impact and media coverage through charitable contributions and event sponsorship
• Ensuring consistency of donations with clients' interests and goals
